The Visitors continue to win the trust of the Earth's population. Besides to new medical technologies, which provide the population they announced that they will share a new supercharged vitamin treatment. 

Jack and Ryan learn about this treatment and make a little investigation. They found that is a regular flu shots, which the visitors putting a drug.

“V” Season 1, Episode 1: Pilot

On a day like any other, all on Earth is shocked with the arrival of large alien ships over all major cities. Not long after the aliens appear, they offer advanced technologies in exchange for replenishing their supplies.

The aliens' spokesperson is very charming Ana. She decided to give an interview to reporter Chad Decker, which aims to seduce Earth's population.

Earthlings are soon divided into two camps: people like Father Jack Landry, who welcome visitors with open arms and people who see in them a threat.

For FBI Agent Erica Evans visitors are no different from ordinary work. She is a single parent with one son named, Tyler. He unlike Erica is obsessed and fascinated by visitors.

Erica learns that a terrorist cell, which she investigated, is related to visitors and her partner. After the meeting with people in the warehouse, she learns that visitors are not as well intentioned as it seems.

“V” is the series premiere of the 2009 re-imagining of the 1983 miniseries V created by Kenneth Johnson. The episodes teleplay was written by Scott Peters, with story credit going to Johnson and Peters. The first episode sees spaceships appear over 29 of the world's major cities. Though the alien "Visitors" claim to come in peace, it transpires that they have been infiltrating the planet for decades, and are planning on enslaving the human species.
